Georgina Alpen is a professional dancer and choreographer in Vancouver who recently graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor's Degree in Contemporary Dance. She is co-founder of dance group Con8 Collective and has been teaching dance for over ten years. She currently teaches at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre and dances in their senior dance ensemble, the Dovbush Dancers who recentely returned from the Ukraine. With Charlotte Newman, she has co-created Con8 Collective. Georgina has a passion for bringing dance to young children and introducing them to an inclusive teaching style dedication to self-exploration and individuality.

Charlotte, originally from Seattle, moved to Vancouver to begin her studies in dance at Simon Fraser University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2014. While training in dance, Charlotte has also had the chance to step into the role of artistic director/producer, helping a handful of amazing SFU performances come together. Charlotte has had the pleasure of working with a variety of young dancers, including developing and teaching a creative modern dance summer camp for elementary age students in 2012. Currently she teaches teen contemporary dance classes at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre in East Vancouver. No matter the age or experience, Charlotte loves sharing her knowledge of dance with young movers and finds herself constantly inspired by their endless physical curiosity and creative intellect.

When not teaching, Charlotte works as an arts administrator with Vancouver New Music, and is the co-artistic director of Con8 Collective - a young dance collective focused on finding innovative and interdisciplinary ways to explore and share dance in the community.
